Troubleshooting
- Check the diffuser head is firmly secured. This is where the electrical connection is made, if it isn't tightly screwed, misting won't occur
- Unplug your diffuser, wait a moment, then plug back in. A simple reset often resolves this issue.
Hold the remote ON/OFF button and check the indicator light.
If the light is flashing: the battery has been inactive. Hold the ON/OFF button on the remote for 5–10 seconds. If the light continues flashing, wait 2 minutes and try again.
If the light is holding steady: unplug the diffuser, wait a moment, then plug back in.

Product Use & Care
1. Remove & empty the bottle
Switch off and unplug the diffuser. Twist the diffuser head counter-clockwise to detach the bottle, then pour out any remaining fragrance oil.
2. Clean the bottle & nozzle
Rinse the bottle thoroughly - we recommend isopropyl alcohol for the best results, though water works just fine if that's all you have. If you notice a nozzle blockage, gently insert a toothpick to clear the obstruction before reassembling.
3. Dry, refill & reattach
Allow the bottle to dry completely, then add your new fragrance oil. Reattach the bottle to the diffuser head and screw clockwise until firmly secured.
We recommend cleaning your diffuser every time you refill.
Yes, it is safe to leave on. The Lumascent Smart Scent Diffuser operates at 5V for safe day-to-day use when used as directed, and it also includes an automatic shutoff feature if the unit is tipped over.

Yes, we offer change-of-mind returns as long as the diffuser is in unused condition and returned in its original packaging.

Warranty
Your Smart Scent Diffuser is covered by a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase. This covers manufacturing defects and product faults (for example, if the diffuser is not working properly due to a fault in the unit). It does not cover damage caused by accidents, drops, misuse, improper handling, or normal wear and tear.
For fragrance oils, these are generally treated as consumable products and are not covered under the diffuser warranty. However, we can assist if your oils arrive damaged, leaking, defective, or if you received the wrong item.

Using non-Lumascent oils will void your warranty. To ensure safe performance and maintain warranty coverage, we recommend using only Lumascent fragrance oils with your Smart Scent Diffuser.
To submit a warranty claim, please provide your proof of purchase (such as your order confirmation or receipt) and your order number. We may also request photos/videos of the issue and a brief description of the fault to help us assess your claim as quickly as possible.
